Suzuki Early Childhood Education Classes

SECE classes are for prenatal (expectant parents) through age 3 years 11 months. These classes are designed to teach students from a very young age to develop character, good citizenship, and a noble heart. They also learn to develop aural skills, produce a beautiful tone, care for instruments, match pitches, keep a steady beat, take turns, share, work as a group, replicate rhythms, learn basic musical terms, develop coordination, cross body (left-right) skills, reading readiness, vocabulary acquisition, listening to and helping others, along with many other areas. Students in class get to be both involved and interactive with the activities.

 Each child works with their parent in a structured class that includes lots of repetition to help student learn and thrive and uses very high quality instruments with a focus on beautiful tone and musical precision. 

Students that complete the SECE classes are then ready for one-on-one instrument lessons, school or other learning environments.
